A picture is worth a thousand words...
As an iChat user you're well aware of that. The advantages of a video based chat to a normal phone call are numerous and once having video chats with your friends, relatives or colleagues has become your all day life you don't want to miss it any more.
Now ShowMacster takes this experience to a whole new level. It not only allows you to present pictures in your opponents iChat window, it also lets you play movies and live captures of your actual screen! Ever had the problem of explaining something on the computer to someone who's miles away...?
As an extension of iChat AV it's completely integrated right into your favorite chat application. And due to the fact that ShowMacster is written completely in OS X's native language Objective-C and the Cocoa framework, its look and feel are pretty familiar.

Had a nice holiday? Now you'd like to share your pictures with a friend but he's just sitting on the other side of the world?
 No problem with ShowMacster! All you have to do is drag your photos into the drawer and boom - you're ready to start your slideshow. As ShowMacster only changes the video stream it lets you continue to chat and comment on your pics.
Did your friend enjoy the photos? Just drag one out of the drawer and drop it onto his/her face. Guess what? ShowMacster lets iChat send your files immediately.
Have you collected a bunch of cool icons but you don't really know what to do with them? Just import them into ShowMacster, apply any hotkey and with the press of a key you're able to express yourself in hundreds of ways...

 Speaking of movies... Even if you want to present your favourite music or sound clip: ShowMacster is the way to go!
ShowMacster supports all common sound formats like AIFF, MP3, WAV, AAC and more.
Playing a sound clip doesn't interrupt the video chat or any current streaming photo or movie clip. It is even possible to play several sound clips at the same time.

Have you ever caught yourself at plugging your iSight out of its stand in order to point it on the screen...? Your iSight is clicking, the angle is never right and coordinating you're actions on the screen isn't fun at all... Let your iSight in its stand and allow Showmacster to do the job.
 Sending live captures of your screen couldn't be easier. Just drag a frame with your mouse and ShowMacster will present everything within this frame to your opponent - mouse pointer included!
And again - just drag a frame setting out of your drawer and drop it onto the chat window. Your buddy will receive a picture file of your screen within a second!

ShowMacster v1.9 released
The new version 1.9 of ShowMacster is now available for download.
The new version is now able to send audio directly to iChat and includes major improvements and new functions in the sketchboard (e.g. a text tool and a resizeable window).
And yes, ShowMacster v1.9 brings your beloved drawer side bar to Leopards iChat windows!
